This just shows you what kind of influence the streets are having on high society. Who would have thought that women that have never prob seen a gun in their life would want to have them on their heels?? I'm keeping my eye on Chanel more now...
this piece brings a whole new meaning to the term shoe strap. the commodifying of an iconic symbol known particularly in the barrios and hoods of urbanized disenfranchised gente and slapping it onto a chanel chankla is a brave move. surely the xola aesthetic is at work here, but more a more interesting question is how well equipped are the ladies purchasing these pricey shoes, in juxtaposing their posture with a gun? it's a high price to pay for fashion these days.... ha ha ha
