ATL Rapper Shoots Man, Then Raps About It. Bet he won't do that again!!

An Atlanta man, who shot a man twice then wrote a rap about the crime and naming the victim, has been sentenced to prison time after his victim revealed the hip-hop confession.

According to the Associated Press, 25-year-old Rico Todriquez Wright has been sentenced to 20 years in prison after his victim, Chad Blue, recognized the rapper's voice on a CD.

28-year-old Blue told police that he'd known Wright before the September 2006 shooting, but that the men weren't friendly. He testified companions egged Wright on as he chased and shot his victim in the thigh and groin.

He later said he recognized Wright's voice on a CD, spitting the line "Chad Blue knows how I shoot."

Wright got 20 years for two counts of aggravated assault, and will spend another 20 years on probation.
