I said it when he lost his last fight against Pacquiao, that Pacquiao Retired De La Hoya. I seen Oscar train so he did give it his all and seeing as he is the same age now as when he destroyed Chavez...It was time for him to hang up the gloves. I think he is doing the smart thing it's better to quit with a couple losses than go out with terrible fights. Also it's a must to get out while you still have your health like my pops did...He was a great fighter and will always be one of my Favorites.
